Attorney Sin Do-gyeong Appointed as Tax Advisory Committee Member

Partner Attorney Sin Do-gyeong of Jeongpyeong Law Firm LLC has been appointed as an advisory committee member in the tax field. The term of appointment is two years.

Attorney Sin has handled tax cases exclusively since working in the Investigation Bureau of the National Tax Service, and has firsthand experience observing how taxation logic is formed in practice.

As an advisory committee member, she plans to focus on reviewing tasks for improving taxation procedures and the effectiveness of taxpayer rights relief procedures.

In particular, she plans to address the conditions under which cases can be substantively resolved at the pre-assessment review and adjudication request stages.

Jeongpyeong has continued practical research aimed at increasing the rate of case resolution at the adjudication stage in the tax field.

This appointment is an extension of that ongoing work.
